Instructions

This is the second version of our paper doll dress-up games.

To add an item of clothing to the character, drag it across. Once it is over, the character will pop into place.

To remove an item of clothing, drag it off the character. It will then return to its starting position.

Teaching

This version of the game adds an extra character and a few more items of clothing from the Dress Up Game.

I build this game to practice sentences like:

  • “He/She is wearing (item of clothing).”
  • “You are wearing (item of clothing).”
  • “I am wearing (item of clothing).”
  • “I like your/this/that (item of clothing).”

They are Wearing

Students approach the board and move one or two clothing items onto the characters. They can say what each character is wearing.

Student: “He is wearing a blue t-shirt. She is wearing a yellow dress.”

You Are Wearing

This is a competitive two-player or two-team game in which the object is to dress the other team in the funniest outfit possible.

First, set up the teams and choose their character.

Players take turns saying the sentence. “You are wearing (item of clothing).” and then dragging that item onto the other team’s character.
